Taking advantage of the hype following the recent release of Nintendo's Wii console, Mr Cloud's T-Shirt Emporium lets customers order a t-shirt with their Mii printed on it. For those of you who haven't yet gotten your hands on a Wii, a Mii is a user's avatar—a 3D caricature that can be designed by choosing from a wide variety of facial and body features and colors. Miis serve as a player's character when playing games.
As Mr Cloud explains: "Much of the initial time on our newfangled Nintendo Wii was spent creating highly realistic Mii replicas of ourselves, our friends and many famous dead people. Wouldn't it be fun, we thought, if our creations of ourselves could be proudly displayed on a t-shirt?"
Customers can add Mr Cloud as a friend on their Wii, and then beam over their Mii using the Wii's built-in send functionality. The Mii-shirts (GBP 19.99 / USD 35) are custom-printed and dispatched within a few days. Sounds like a fun and very now example of gravanity, and a neat low-cost business idea for Wiired t-shirt printers across the world, especially when Nintendo starts making more consoles available to countries outside North America and Japan.

NOTE: We've received various alarming messages from people who paid for a Mii shirt but haven't received the product. While we still think this was a fun business concept, we would advise you not to order one. Please also see the comments below.

Yep same here agree with him above they are rip off merchant took my money and received nothing. surely something can be done. Customers can add mr cloud as a friend dont make me laugh a friend people can do without!!!unless they like being screwed over!!!!again please do not publish my email address
Same here....... 2 months and nothing. I started emailing after 1 month for a status report and recieved no reply. Luckily my credid card has a good dispute policy and had refunded my money.
I would advise extreme caution when dealing with MrCloud, especially if you aren't resident in the UK (I'm in Australia).
I wanted to exchange 2 t-shirts (my choice, I wanted different size and colour once I'd seen them). Therefore it was no problem to me when nice cuddly Craigy requested a further 7 pounds to cover postage and replacement fees.
MrCloud mislaid my package but I'd paid by cheque and was therefore able to establish that the package had been received - MrCloud were unhelpful throughout and 10 months on, I still haven't received the replacements.
They have simply ignored my many e-mails, and I did read a thread on another site where MrCloud blithely informed another dissatisfied customer that their mails had been "treated as spam" and therefore hadn't been read. No further explanation given - very classy customer service. Not.
Find your way into this mob's "too-hard" basket and you may never get out.
same here its been over a month now and nothing told me it was because of the post strike funny how i still get all my bills this is a pure rip off

No contact whatsoever from mrcloud. They've taken my money, but no goods received. Tried contacting via e-mail and their web page, but had no response. Now taking action via Paypal for refund of payment. Beware!!! Would seriously not recommend purchasing from this person.
i have had no contact whatsoever either from mr cloud been 4 months now taken money day i placed order tried paypal but mr cloud is clever he promised me he would send replacements after the 30 days had passed which meant it was too late claim through paypal as there is a time limit so just to let steph know do it asap
Do not trust this site. It is a scam. He tried to rip me off by not sending the tshirts. Get onto paypal or your crediat card company right away if you don't get your goods.
He will try to rip you off.
Me Too - despite lots of emails and even when I mentioned it all looking a bit dodgy Craig went to great lengths to contradict this - Guess this guy gets a kick out of being in denial!
So 3 months later and no joy for Christmas.
6 months and nothing no contact whatsoever craig is very good at ignoring emails, letters and phonecalls but doesnt ignore payments keen to sort that aspect out!! very dodgy indeed when mentioned he also went to great lengths too but not enough to send me my goods! suprised he still allowed to trade but nobody seems to care and while nobody cares he will continue to rip people off!
Yes my son has also not received the teeshirt he ordered in begining Dec and no refund. Craig told him to complain to Paypal. They have resolved in our favour but cannot get the money back. Be careful! Why dont you take the advert off your site?
Just for the record: Another unhappy "customer".
My wife placed an order (which I paid for with my PayPal account). Over a month and a half later, no goods have been received and mrcloud has told us to complain to PayPal to get our money back. [We've complained, but I imagine we won't be getting our money back...]
I sent him a postal order payment for a t shirt a couple of years ago and he claimed he never received it!!
AVOID
I also have been conned by Mrcloud, ordered the goods on the 5th Dec and still received nothing, sent numerous emails only to get a sarcastic comment back, I am speaking to trading standards in the morning
agree with all the other comments above. Trading standards have been informed again, luckily my credit card company is reputable, and is in the process of investigating this rip-off merchant. This experience has totally put me off using the internet for purchases. I hope that his so called company is traced and closed down soon.
I too did order from Craig (Mrcloud) in November 2007. Paid immediately with PayPal but it was then connected to my bank account. Did complain to Craig about the fact that he said never to have received the money. "Paypal must have stolen it" Launched a complaint with PayPal, was told that I was right but that the account is empty. So no refund. Paypal is only safe if you do it with a creditcard. This way your creditcard company can get your money back. SO BE AWARE!!!! Do not order and when you order somewhere on the internet always use PAPal in combination with a creditcard
'Cowboy Craig' they call him.
This guy is a rip off merchant.
MrCloud?.. More like MrCrap!
I have contacted Trading Standards, Watchdog and Lancashire police (where he is based) to let them know about Mr Cloud. If others do the same maybe we could stop this happening once and for all.
I have also been duped by this leach. I have contacted bbc’s watchdog, i am also going to contact trading standards etc
if we all contact at least watchdog and trading standards then we can stop people like this. don’t just be angry let’s all do something about it.

Despite our best efforts to solve any complaints customers may have with our business this thread continues. Our aim is to discuss any problems you may have in a civil manner in order that any outstanding problems may be resolved. We also aim to encourage those who have complained falsely or due to a misunderstanding to clearly state that the matter has been resolved.
As many posters have used initials or first names it is difficult to identify the customers in question. I can however identify two recent commentators who have accused us of fraud.
‘Sarah’ is presumably one Sarah Dempsey of Greater Manchester. This customer placed an order with the understanding that delivery may take up to 28 days. Sarah claimed that the order wasn’t received. After this period elapsed and after a quick investigation by the Post Office the customer has been refunded in full today (18th January). However despite having received an email from ourselves and from Dalpay Sarah has persisted to post in this thread claiming that no refund has been made.
This is untrue. I encourage Sarah to state that her refund has been made.
‘Tracey’ is presumably Tracey Church from Northants. This customer also claimed non-delivery of an item sent. We made it clear to Tracey that delivery for a certain date could not be promised unless Special Delivery is purchased. Tracey did not purchase this option. We also make it clear that a 28 day period must elapse before an item can be considered lost and a refund made. Tracey initially agreed to this when the order was placed but when the item had not arrived two weeks later Tracey threatened to report us to Trading Standards unless a refund was made immediately. This was clearly not possible under the terms agreed. Once this period had elapsed we completed a refund within a matter of days. During this process Tracey has labelled us a ‘con man’ and accused us of fraud merely for adhering to the conditions agreed.
We are not being investigated by any official body. Our working practices and refund policy are legal and an industry standard. Despite the claims of both Sarah and Tracey, both customers received a refund within the timeframe stated clearly within the site's terms & conditions, and as such we consider both these cases closed.
Thank you.
After asking where my item was and being fobbed off for a long time, then being promised a replacement within a certain timeframe - which never appeared, then being ignored for a while, i was finally given a refund. I was actually told i had a refund before it was actually transacted - strange. Mr Cloud has no idea how to treat customers, he ignores emails for a long time, makes promises he can't keep. I have had just cause for complaint, only to be threatened with being sued! Use his site at your peril. In my personal opinion Mr Cloud is overall the worst online shop i have ever come across - it really puts me off of shopping online in the future. He may not be under investigation at the moment, but if he carries on like this he probably will be
Can I just reaffirm what Sarah has stated and this is the same treatment I have had from the joker, I too am not prepared to be treated in the way others have been, and hey presto I have had an email saying the money is or could be oin its way but not actually there so to speak.
He Claims to opersate within the law I would doubt and call his personal judgement well and truley into question, He hasnt even the intelligence to be a quality thief...
Come on Cloudy we want answers.
Oh and word to this site leave these psotings but thing long and hard about the damage this will you do in the long term, could be seen as aiding and abeting remove the link to Cloud he dont derseve it unless you are one of the same?
So there is another site for Mr Cloud...well well well....he is getting famous but for all the wrong reasons...i am here to desperately tell peeps not to order under any circumstances from this company yes i have finally got my money back for goods that i ordered and paid for back on 14th nov it was stated at some point yesterday that i had recieved the goods (hahaha) and a refund but of course Craig knows he never sent me the goods the website is just not worth looking at because you dont get the goods
Please remove the hyperlink to this idiot he dont deserve the support but PLEASE LEAVE the comments he deserves all he gets

I am promised a refund by bank transfer. This take 5 workdays according to my bank in the Netherlands. So I will let you know if I get it!
As stated both Sari and Pamela have been refunded. If any genuine customers wishes to contact me or post here regarding any problems they may have I'll be happy to address them.
thanks
Craig ...i was wondering do you have a shop that maybe i could come and purchase a t-shirt hahahahahahahaha
NO NO NO I haven't received a refund yet. You said you will but until now there has been no money on my account. I know it will take 5 workdays so I you transfered it today as you said you would I will receive it Tuesday the 5th of February. But until then it is just a promise and after two months of waiting (ordered/paid November the 21st),EXCUSE ME, I do not take your word for it.
NO NO NO! I haven't received the refund yet. He PROMISED to transfer the money yesterday but since it is international it take 5 workdays according to my bank. So Tuesday is the first opportunity. So to me it is still a promise and after two months my confidence isn't the big. We'll have to wait and see but I will keep you posted as promised before.
For the record: I didn't have my refund yet. Only a promise to do so. But it takes 5 days to transfer the money so we'll have to wait and see if this promise is kept. A week more doesn't do me harm after two months waiting!
Sorry, I am Sari since my comment didn't get through as Sari. I have been trying since yesterday. Wonder why? I am polite and do not abuse any one only state the facts as they are.
Just to try if this works again.
I will keep you informed if and when I receive my refund.
hello sari...i was refunded mine over the weekend and my money was back in my bank yesterday (tues) so lets hope he keeps to his word for his sake..
I did sent this email:
Hello,
I was searching the internet for nintendo t-shirts to make a huge fan happy when I came across this company.
This company says on their site that 't-shirts are the only Mii shirts to be approved by Nintendo Europe. They are used by Nintendo U.K. to promote the Mii service and are official Nintendo promotional products.' which can make you think that they are selling nintendo approved t-shirts in general.
The Mii t-shirts are not available for ordering but the other nintendo t-shirts are.
My question is: are these official t-shirts? And are you officially dealing with this company?
The company is www.mrcloud.com
I hope you can shed some light on this.
Sincerely,
Jona

ive been checking mr clouds site and i see he is using atari logos and nintendo amongst others who do i contact about copyright theft is it trading standards again can anyone help
After two months waiting a MIRACLE has happened! After complaining, posting everywhere, contacting Nintendo Britain and offering help to Pamela I have been refunded.
Paypal said the account was empty so I couldn’t be refunded. I didn’t pay with creditcard so couldn’t get it any other way than getting loud on these forums. And see I got a refund within two days (my bank said it would take 5 days).
Fortunately Craig seems to be concerned about his reputation when you do enough harm to his reputation he will refund. But not in the normal way. I contacted him through email and all he repeated was that Paypal took my money and he didn’t get it. Funny that he now refunded so quickly when he said he never got the money in the first place!!!
I still hope that a lot of people read these forums before ordering and are warned not to go through the hassle others have.
Pamela and Sarah: THANK YOU if it weren’t for you two I never would have know how to get my money back.
And for Craig/Mrcloud: learn something from these forums. People do get so frustrated because they don’t get any where if they contact you through the proper ways: phone, email and website. Therefore they go public because if they complain enough, go to watchdog, Nintendo, police and other public institutes you WILL refund.
But that is not the normal way to deal with customers!

Thanks for confirming your refund A.Dankers.
Just to confirm that we have had no contact from any authority. Nor do we expect to receive any.
I think you should expect to receive some contact from the authorities if you are, in fact, telling the truth. The amount dissatisfied customers who have appear to have contacted Trading Standards, the police and Watchdog – myself included – will not go unnoticed.
hi craig i am going to give you my order details again to prove i am genuine ,i am not going to put my adress on the forum as that would be stupid but i would like to confirm that the adress you have for shipping is correct ,with the order number you should easily be able to access all the details you need to sort out this problem as you are claiming you want to do so we are both in agreement on this point,i am also putting these details in full public view so everyone can see i have kept my side of the bargain and proved i am a genuine customer with a genuine compaint ,so i dont see a problem now for getting this mess sorted out and me recieving my t shirt which i hasten to add i have paid for

Please please please be wary of Mr Cloud! You are advertising their wares but they are taking money off people, sending sarcastic e-mails back, or worse still not replying at all, and not sending out any goods. You are advertising a rip off merchant who is taking our money. Please do not print my e-mail address but I would advise you look into their business - or perhaps ask others for comment before you continue to push this company.
