Theater in the Netherlands offers babysitting service

Work & Lifestyle

The Theater Bellevue in Amsterdam has created a facility for parents to book a babysitter at the same time as booking show tickets.

The problem of finding a babysitter can often restrict parents from visiting theaters and cinemas, and can create more complications when tickets need to be purchased in advance. The Theater Bellevue in Amsterdam, however, has found a solution by creating a facility for parents to book a babysitter at the same time as booking show tickets. The Theater Bellevue have teamed up with Babysitter Central Kriterion. When booking a ticket for a specific show, the customer can indicate whether they are interested in the babysitter service. Babysitter Central Kriterion will then contact the customer directly to arrange a babysitter. Money is paid directly to the babysitter on the night itself and costs EUR 7 per hour, for a minimum of three hours, plus a EUR 3 administration fee. There is a surcharge on Friday and Saturday nights and for anyone living outside of the ring, IJburg and Amsterdam-Noord. The babysitter service is only available to those living in Amsterdam and reservations must be made up to two days before the performance. The Bellevue gives customers using Babysitter Central Kriterion a EUR 2.50 discount on each ticket. A simple idea to give customers a carefree night out. How could you help your audience reach you by removing the hassle from their purchase decisions? Spotted by: Noortje Berrevoet-Verhoeven
