Turkish diaper brand Evy Baby is reaching out to parents by placing changing rooms in shopping malls.

Evy Baby is showing parents of nappy-clad infants some well-deserved sympathy. The diaper manufacturer has installed changing rooms in 12 shopping centers, and is planning to open more in the near future. Each clean and cheerful baby room has a changing table and comfortable chairs for nursing. And, of course, samples of Evy Baby's products.

Letting customers sample your wares in a branded environment that offers them something they really need -- that's where tryvertising meets brand spaces. Whether it's free wifi in an airport, or a changing room in a busy shopping mall, everyone values a helping hand. Check out trendwatching.com's brand spaces and tryvertising briefings for more great examples. Meanwhile, P&G and Kimberly-Clark: what are you waiting for?

Comments on this idea:

They should do these on airports!

The sporting goods industry has been doing this for years - REI with a climbing wall, Bike shops with indoor tracks, etc.

A little different, but the principal is similar; not only get them using the product, but surround them in where they want to be so they can picture a better/easier life using the product.

Thanks to EvyBaby. It's a successful firm really. But that application was started for family customers by former innovationed management (thank god not current!) in Birmot's branches in 1993 first all around of Turkey. Birmot is an automotive dealer for Fiat and Alfa Romeo in 12 big city showrooms in Turkey. Besides, same company also started a lot of services like the unpaid service that called "rubber protection and saving service". That application includes saving winter rubbers in summer time and summer rubbers saving when winter comes again in special nylon bags in Birmot's depots for the customers have no places to save (definetely unpaid!). That application also was started by BMW after Birmot's started. How I know that? I was Qality Manager in it ones upon a time :)
