Through its Proposal Service, customers can get a mock engagement ring printed using sterling silver and less expensive Swarovski gemstones, which can be used when popping the question. If the partner doesn’t like the design, fit or – in the worst case scenario – declines the offer, the proposer won’t have invested as much as they might have done. If they say yes, the prototype can be quickly remade with precious metals and natural gemstones. Although the service is aimed at those proposing to marry, anyone could feasibly take advantage.
