Perfect for consumers who love personalizing their spaces and changing their minds, companies like Blik and Wonderful Graffiti sell decorative wall graphics that can be applied and removed at whim.

Blik has a wide range of surface graphics, ranging from designs by Keith Haring and Charles & Ray Eames to space invaders and farm animals. Their self-adhesive wall decals allow consumers to transform the look of a living room or office space in minutes. Made of PVC, the wall stickers look like paint once they've been applied. Pricing is around USD 40-50 per kit, and sheets of custom text start at USD 100.

Focusing on the power of words, Wonderful Graffiti sticks to selling letters. The company was founded by a former copywriter with a strong love of typography, and offers ready-made poems and quotations, as well as letting customers create their own word designs. Words are delivered on sheets, ready to stick on walls without having to measure out spacing. Since the 'graffiti' is easy to remove, it's also well suited to temporary decorations for special events like weddings or holidays.

Nice one to distribute to local markets. And opportunities await minipreneurs who'd like to sell their creativity as wall decorators, specializing in designing and applying graphics in homes and offices. For more wall decoration ideas, read what we wrote about Wallpaper 2.0.

Please check out WallCandy Arts at www.wallcandyarts.com, we launched our product around the same time as Blik or a little before. We have just filed a patent for peel and stick chalkboard that is removable without damaging walls.

I would recommend checking out www.slicksticks.com these guys are actual graphic professional artists. They have some basic stuff which I guess is necessary, but they also have some very very cool designs. If they keep pumping out cool designs they are going to take the whole wall sticker idea to a whole new level.

I decorated my pad with their surfs up design....check em out!

I think there is a coupon code out their for slicksticks.com, just do a search and see if it's still available. It was for 20% off.

Cheers!

I would agree. I checked out slicksticks.com they are very cool. Really unique stuff. I wish I saw them earlier before I bought a basic set from Blic. Anyways, live and learn.

For people in the UK there's a new company called Wall Glamour who have some interesting wall stickers / graphics. We put some cows on the wall of the nursery. I think our neighbours are going to copy us! http://www.wallglamour.co.uk

Another great company is http://paintlessdesign.com. New and refreshing designs including those for both kids and babies.

I've been designing for over 10 years. I started using decals recently for several design projects. They really are a good design tool to have. I bought several from different companies to try each of them out. I did like the ones from http://www.slicksticks.com the best. They were professional designs, but most of all the customer service was great.
