James Bidwell is the majority shareholder and Executive Chair of Springwise. He has been listed in the Financial Times Creative Business Top 50 and named as one of London’s 1000 most influential people by the London Evening Standard. He has been described as “a theatrical agitator” and as “Selfridges’ ringmaster extraordinaire”, amongst many other tributes during his successful career in leading transformational change in business.

Sophia Dempsey

Sophia Dempsey is Managing Director at Springwise and is responsible for tuning the business and growing the Springwise brand across the globe. Sophia's successful career to date includes time as Publisher Motorsport Magazine and also various positions at Time Inc including Decanter and the Field. Before moving into her publishing roles, Sophia worked in brand and subscription marketing at IPC Media, Reed Business Information, and several arts titles including The Art Newspaper and Art Review. Sophia is a huge supporter of innovation and the innovators who are creating the positive change in our world.

Linda Ligios

Linda Ligios

Linda Ligios is Managing Editor and responsible for the overall editorial strategy including the production of thought leadership and applied innovation reports. With a background in publishing, radio production, communications and social media, Linda has worked with major British organisations such as BBC, British Library and King’s College London. With experience in digital content, licensing and syndication, Linda has recently worked with other European institutions to disseminate research results and promote innovations in the digital preservation space.

Emily Uwemedimo

Emily Uwemedimo

Emily Uwemedimo is the Editorial Administrator who is responsible for providing support to the Managing Editor in all aspects of content publication, customer service and social media engagement. She has previously worked in customer service and for the NHS. Her roles were versatile, allowing her to obtain and develop new skills. She studied Social Anthropology at the University of Kent, gaining knowledge in social relationships and cultural values in a variety of local and global settings.
