Currently seeking funding on Kickstarter, StickOut offers large, easy-stick decals designed by professionals and personalized by the consumer.
The fashion industry is one that has embraced customization of its products to enable wearers to express themselves when they’re out on the street, but the same can’t be said for cars, with options limited to paint color or bumper stickers. Currently seeking funding on Kickstarter, StickOut offers large, easy-stick decals designed by professionals and personalized by the consumer.
Considering how much time drivers spend in their cars, it’s surprising how little effort is made to make them match the owners’ style. StickOut customers first use the online platform to select their car model and the design that fits their personality. They can then adjust the size, crop and rotation of the decal. Each one is printed on high quality laminated vehicle vinyl, the same material used for commercial car wraps. Rather than getting the decal installed by a professional, the decals can simply be placed, adjusted and then fitted with the provided squeegee by the customer. The StickOut design will be durable, but can also be easily peeled off without any residue if drivers want to change their design. The video below shows how the decals work:
StickOut stickers are available from USD 45 and backers can contribute to the Kickstarter campaign until 4 June. Are there other big purchases that could be customized with design additions such as this?
