MORE INFO

The Congress provides an unrivalled high-level forum for senior retailers to learn, share insight, form powerful connections and shape the future of global retail.

In enabling this, the Congress works closely with retail leaders and industry advisors to build a programme that goes to the heart of key issues. This brings together over 180 speakers including some of the brightest minds inside retail and out, including those from economics, academia, politics and NGOs.

For 2020, the Congress’ theme focuses on the power of “relevancy” for all retailers.

A staggering 76 per cent of global retailers said that they believed their business model needed to fundamentally change.

New business models and rules for success are emerging that are challenging everything and asking fundamental questions about the very role of retailing. At the heart of all this change is the consumer. They will buy from those that have the greatest relevance to them: by understanding their needs and wants and by having a powerful and clear purpose.

The 2020 World Retail Congress will build on its High Velocity Retail theme by focusing on this new “Relevance Agenda”. Being relevant to your consumer, wherever they are in the world, will define your success.
