Spotted: Greek lifestyle website Queen.gr successfully leveraged its partnership with Viber to greatly expand its digital community, according to the messaging app. Through its business solutions program, the site grew its Viber Public Chat following to 495K, an increase of more than 330 percent compared to its followers on Facebook page, over a three-month period last year, Viber said.
The website launched a Public Account and Public Chat on Viber and drew in its audience with the promise of exclusive fashion content, personal messages and Viber-specific promotions. The chatbot was also tied to their concert series contest, which awarded tickets to a concert in Paris.
“We wanted to build a singular destination to meaningfully connect with fans. The technology, tools and active female audience that Viber offers allowed us to quickly and happily call them home,” Panagiotis Bomis, Group Publishing General Manager at DPG.GR told Viber.
Queen.gr also launched a branded Sticker Pack through the platform, creating “a native way to engage existing and new fans while introducing them to their Public Account and Public Chat,” Viber said. The Sticker Pack was downloaded over 495,000 times, with over 8.4 million stickers shared on the platform.
