Clients first sign up to the platform and upload details of the required job via an online form, including information about the location, desired date and budget for the job. Then, Droners passes this information on to relevant pilots on their books — those who are local, available and skilled in that area of work. Pilots interested can then bid for the job directly to the client, who can compare prices, reviews and portfolios before selecting a Droner. Users can discuss the details via Droners’ messaging board and make any payments through their secure platform once the job is complete.

Droners takes a service fee of 10 percent up to a maximum of USD 1000 per job. What other specialist skills can use a model like this?
