We’ve seen a number of innovations designed to help consumers get a good cup of coffee wherever they happen to be. One we hadn’t seen, however, is a brewing device for the car — until now, that is. New from French Handpresso, the Handpresso Auto E.S.E. is an espresso machine built specifically for use in automobiles.
The Handpresso Auto fits in a standard cup holder and plugs into the car’s 12V cigarette lighter. Users then simply add water and a coffee pod of their choosing and press the button. The Handpresso Auto brews with 16-bar pressure; when the espresso is ready — cycle time is two minutes — the device beeps three times. The video below demonstrates the Handpresso Auto in action.
