REPORT: THE EARTHSHOT PRIZE WINNERS 2023
Empowerment underpins this year’s Earthshot Prize winners. In a world where it is increasingly easy to feel powerless, the five inspiring solutions recognised at this year’s Awards, held on 7th November in Singapore, show that it is possible to drive change for the better – even as the world faces conflict, the unfolding climate and nature crises, and continuing pressures on the cost of living.
Chosen through a rigorous process that began in December 2022, the five winning solutions will receive a £1 million prize as well as mentorship, resources, and technical support from The Earthshot Prize Fellowship Programme. Each of them has the potential to use this as a launchpad to expand their global impact.
