Regular Springwise readers may recall the MobiUS portable ultrasound imaging device we featured late last year, and recently we spotted a similar new offering with an interesting twist. New York-based ZetrOZ, manufacturer of portable ultrasound generator technology, has now introduced a wearable product designed specifically for treating common musculoskeletal conditions in horses. Ultrasound therapy is widely recognized for its ability to help improve healing in injured tendons, ligaments, muscles and bones. It's also a commonly used non-invasive therapy for treating inflammation and chronic wounds.
